Texas RB to stay in state

After ripping through defenses and rushing for more than 3,000 yards in his high school career, Longview (Texas) Spring Hill running back Jamario Thomas is going to stay in state to play his college football.
“I committed to North Texas,” Thomas, a three-star recruit that is ranked as the nation’s No. 21 running back.

“I visited there this weekend, and I committed. The facilities are good, I can get a great education, and I know that I can learn a lot.”
Thomas picks North Texas over Texas Tech, Arizona State, Arkansas and Colorado. He had offers from all but Arkansas. Texas A&M also showed him some interest.
