Texas RB talks recruiting, season

Dontae Williams is one of the better running back prospects from the Lone Star State. Williams, 5-11 and 205, is from Houston Aldine High School. He recently camped at USC (Rising Stars) and walked away impressed by Trojans.
"It (USC) was pretty cool," Williams said. "The coaches are great. Pete Carroll is a awesome. I loved the weather out there. Actually, I loved everything about it. They have not offered though so I am still trying to figure out where I stand with USC."
According to Williams he has scholarship offers from Oregon, Arkansas, Ohio State, Cal, Iowa State, Colorado State, Purdue, Houston and others.
"Man, I am completely open right now. I still have camps and places to go see. I want to narrow it down by the season.
"I do think I know I want to visit Oregon for sure this fall. I would say USC too but they have not offered and I wouldn't take a visit there unless they offered. Why waste one?"
Williams has seen LSU last summer and he will camp with the Tigers later this month. He will also attend the Top Gun camp in Paisley, Fla.
Williams will have a chance to put up big numbers this season after rushing for 595 yards and six scores as a junior. They are going to the veer option (from the spread).
"I have one goal this season and that's to rush for 100 yards in every 4th quarter. Seriously. I have been working hard and feel I am going to have a good season. I just need to keep getting better. To do that I just need to work on all the little things. I want to get better at everything."
