Texas RB saying in-state
Conroe, Texas running back Desmon Chatman took his first and only official visit of the recruiting season last weekend. He saw enough to go ahead and end the recruiting process.
"Desmon is committed to North Texas," Conroe coach Roger Holtkamp said. "He visited them last weekend (Jan. 21) and came home pretty sure of things and was pretty set on going there.

"Then the coaches came up here earlier this week and firmed all of that up. He committed to them officially while they were up here seeing him."
Chatman had interest from Utah State, Southwest Texas and some late interest from Kansas.
"He talked to Utah State and Southwest Texas quite a bit earlier," Holtkamp said. "He visited with Kansas here late, but he didn't take a trip there. Then when he visited North Texas, he was ready to commit."
