Texas RB racks up yards, offers

Things are bigger in the state of Texas, including the stats of their running back prospects. Two-star running back Ade Tuyo from Jersey Village, Texas, racked up 287 yards and two touchdowns last night in a 27-7 victory over Humble. It’s stats like that which are opening the eyes of college coaches from all over the nation.
“I have scholarship offers from Arkansas, Tulane, Baylor and Missouri,” he said. “Those are the ones that I can remember at least. I also really like Arizona, but they’ve not offered me a scholarship.”

Tuyo said all of those teams would be good options, but he’s hoping that with his solid senior season – which he’s already rushed for more than 750 yards and seven touchdowns – will bring in some bigger schools.
“I’d love to hear from Oklahoma, Nebraska and Colorado,” he said. “They called me in May, but I’ve not heard from them yet here this month. I’m just hoping to get some bigger offers, but there’s nothing wrong with the guys that are recruiting me now. I just want to have more options to think about.”
Tuyo, a two-star prospect that who is 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds, has helped Jersey Village to a 2-2 record. Jersey Village faces Langham Creek this upcoming Friday.
