Texas RB pulls the switch, headed to OSU

Three-star running back Kendall Hunter had a decision made in late December for TCU. However, Hunter said Sunday evening that things have changed and a new commitment has been made.
The 5-foot-9, 185-pounder had been talking a lot about Oklahoma State for some time. Hunter, however, decided to make an announcement for TCU several weeks ago. Now, the Tyler (Texas) John Tyler speedster has changed that pick as of last Friday.

"I'm committed to Oklahoma State now," Hunter said. "I did that last week, on Friday. I did make a commitment to TCU, but Oklahoma State was the first college I wanted to go to throughout the process."
Hunter says that when he called the OSU coaches, including Curtis Luper, Mike Gundy, and Joe Wickline, the Cowboys staff was excited
"Yeah, they really were," Hunter said. "Actually, the whole staff was excited about my commitment."
When asked if he was taking any more visits, Hunter said emphatically that he was through with the recruiting process.
"This is it for me," Hunter said. "I just liked the coaching staff at OSU and it just fit me."
Hunter was originally scheduled to take an official visit to OSU this past weekend. However, the weather caused him to move it up a weekend. He'll take his official visit to Stillwater this upcoming weekend (Jan. 19).
