Texas RB makes his decision
Paris, Texas, running back Jessie Henderson has been high on Texas Tech and SMU for quite some time, but now he’s more than high on the Ponies. He’s committed.
Henderson committed to SMU this morning, according to his coach Larry Wheeler.

“He was also recruited by Texas Tech, Arkansas, Iowa, Purdue, Missouri, Oklahoma State and Colorado,” his coach said. “But SMU was the right fit for him.”
It is indeed.
Henderson, an all-state pick that is 5-foot-8 and 165 pounds, rushed for 1,396 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2002. He also had nine receptions for 168 yards and two scores.
Henderson is ranked as a two-star prospect by Rivals.com and earned a 5.4 Rivals Rating.
