Texas RB hoping to show talents

The Woodlands, Texas running back Cameron Montgomery continues to attract the attention of schools through the Midlands region.
“I’m getting quite a bit of mail,” the 6-foot-1, 205-pound Montgomery said. “I don’t have any scholarship offers yet. I’m looking at a few schools and maybe their camps this summer to check them out.”
The schools on Montgomery’s list include Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Kansas and Kansas State.
“I don’t have a favorite school,” he said. “It’s too early for that. I want to see what they all have to offer after I get the chance to check them out in person.”
Montgomery is looking forward to showing his abilities as a senior.
“I wasn’t our main running back this year,” he said. “We had Samson Taylor, who is going to Texas A&M. He was the guy for us. Next year, I will get more opportunities to carry the ball and show my skills.”
