Texas RB holds three offers

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - While many people have had their focus on Allen, Texas quarterback Nathan Dick, his teammate and running back Charles Opeseyitan has been picking up scholarship offers left and right.
Coming off a very solid performance at the NIKE Training Camp at Texas A&M, the 5-foot-10, 205-pound Opeseyitan already has offers in hand from big programs and is starting to think about favorites.

"Oklahoma State, Kansas, and SMU have all offered," Opeseyitan said. "Right now, OSU is kind of a favorite, but Florida is talking about offering, so we'll see what comes of that. Things could change."
Opeseyitan doesn't just have speed because he's worked hard. His mother was close to becoming an Olympic track star.
"Well, she had me before she went to the Olympics, so she thought 'well, I'll take care of him instead,'" Opeseyitan said. "My dad was also in track, but never took as far as my mom did. I get my speed from the both of them."
The talented North Texas runner calls his recruiting process "crazy" with mail coming in from Arkansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Florida, and much of the Big 12 along with his offers.
"I'm going to Oklahoma State pretty soon for a visit," he said. "Then, over the summer I'm going to head out to camp at Florida."
Competing in the NIKE Camp, according to the talented running back, was definitely worth it.
"I got to meet some great running backs and learn some new things," he said. "I can apply this to make myself even better."
