Texas RB holding four offers

Mesquite (Texas) North Mesquite running back Al'Darius Thompson has picked up a few scholarship offers this spring so far and he plans to attend at least one football camp this summer of one of the schools.
"I am getting quite a bit of attention from Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, TCU, Iowa State, Tulsa, Kansas State and Oklahoma State," the 5-foot-10, 165-pound Thompson said. "I've been getting a lot of mail from schools all over."

That interest has led to four scholarship offers to date.
"I have offers from Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, TCU and Iowa State so far," he said. "I like a lot about several schools so far. I don't really have a favorite school. I just want to find a place where I can get on the field. Some of the schools are recruiting me as a corner, most as a running back though. Wherever it gets me on the field I will be happy playing."
Thompson knows of one school he will be attending camp at this summer.
"I am going to the Georgia Tech camp for sure. I'm going to Atlanta this summer. My best friend, Eric Norwood, is there and he is looking at Georgia Tech, too. We are going to go up to the camp together. Hopefully I can make it work so I can get to Mississippi State camp too."
Don't look for a quick decision from Thompson.
"I am not looking for an early decision. I will take my time and find the right place for me to go to school. That won't be a big deal at all for me. I don't feel like I need to rush it just to get a choice made."
