Texas RB headed to the Pac-10

If things weren't good enough already for Euless (Texas) Trinity athlete/running back Dimitri Nance, his college recruitment just took things up a notch.
The 5-foot-9, 191-pound running back was watching offers go from trickling in to coming on strong. However, ever since getting his Arizona State offer, he had increased his interest in the Pac-10 school and that added up to Monday afternoon's decision.

"Yeah, I made it," Nance said. "I'm going to Arizona State. We're also going to set up a visit for a week after the state championship game in case we make it that far. Nothing is set up on an exact date just yet though."
He says that the Sun Devils were a team that he really saw himself being a part of.
"They are the best offer I have so far and they need running backs like me," Nance said. "It's the kind of competition they play against too in the Pac-10 with teams like USC, UCLA, and all those."
"Plus, they said they've had to move a receiver to running back and if they get a running back like me, they can move him back to his normal position."
Nance isn't ruling out other visits and says he is a soft verbal commitment at this time.
"I'm going to take some trips to maybe places like Missouri, Utah, and Oklahoma State if they call back," Nance said. "They still haven't offered yet, but we'll see. As for now, I'm committed to Arizona State."
