Texas RB has called the Hawgs

Texarkana (Texas) Texas running back Korey Sutton has made his college decision.
“I committed to Arkansas on Saturday,” the 5-foot-10, 195-pound Sutton said. “I’m set for there. I’m not looking around anymore.”

The three-star rated running back hasn’t told many people the news yet.
“I told the Arkansas coaches I was coming there,” he said. “But, that’s it. I haven’t had a chance to talk to any of the other schools yet. I’ll get them called.”
The opportunity to get on the field at Arkansas played a big factor in Sutton’s decision.
“I just like the way things were opening up there. Cedric Cobbs is a senior there. The spot will be open next year. I’m excited about the chances there.”
Sutton has yet to line up an official visit date with the Hogs.
“I don’t have an official set yet. I’ve been there unofficially. I’m going on Oct. 18 for Florida game.”
Sutton’s squad is off to a 5-0 start.
“We’re rolling into district play and playing well,” he said. “This week we play Mount Pleasant. They were the only team to beat us last year. If anyone on our team has trouble getting up for that game, they need to think about things.”
