Texas RB gets first offer

Coppell running back Vince Chukwukelu has received one offer so far in the recruiting process but is hoping for the offers to come in from other schools that he is looking at.

The 5-11, 215-pound running back picked up an offer from Central Michigan but does not currently have them in his top five. His favorites include Stanford, Iowa, Tulsa, Iowa State and Wisconsin.
Chukwukelu lists Stanford as head and shoulders above the others for a number of reasons.
“Stanford has the best balance of academics and athletics in the country,” he said. “They also have a very beautiful campus. I think it’s a place that I could fit in well.”
Chukwukelu was unable to attend any camps this summer besides the Nike combine held in College Station, Texas. After visiting the Texas A&M campus while at the combine, he said that the Aggies would be the only in-state school that he would like to play for at the next level.
“A&M has always sounded interested in me,” Chukwukelu said. “If I had to go to an in-state school, that is where I would end up.”
Chukwukelu is rated as a two-star prospect by Rivals100.com.
