Texas RB favoring Cats

Richardson (Texas) Pearce running back Parrish Fisher is preparing for the first of his four official visits.

“I’m still set to visit Kansas State next weekend (Dec. 12),” the 5-foot-9 204-pound Fisher said. “That is my first trip. I have the Iowa visit set for the next weekend (Dec. 19).”

Fisher has maintained he has four schools in mind for visiting.

“I’m visiting those two and I will also visit Georgia Tech and probably Utah. I’m not sure what the fifth school will be. I don’t know what might come of it. I might not go anywhere. I did have a visit for Georgia Tech set up for November 28. But, I wasn’t able to go. I haven’t set a date for that visit yet. It will be in January, most likely.”

The three-star rated Fisher plans on getting his visits in before making a choice.

“I want to see the schools,” he said. “If I find a place that just makes me say, ‘This is the place,’ then I might go ahead and commit. I want to make it the right place. So, we’ll see what the visits bring me.”

At this point, one school stands out a little above the others.

“I like Kansas State the most right now,” he said. “But, that is what the visits are for. We’ll see how things are after a couple visits.”
