Denton, Texas running back Anthony Aldridge is enjoying the recruiting process so far.
"It is crazy," the 5-foot-11, 170-pounder said. "I’m amazed at the recognition. I didn’t expect it. But I'm enjoying it as much as I can."

Aldridge brought on most of the attention himself with his junior season. He ran for 1,003 yards on 83 carries while scoring 11 touchdowns.
"We throw the ball quite a bit in our offense," Aldridge said. "I had the 83 carries but I also caught 15 passes last season too."
Aldrige also ranks as one of the state's top track performers in Texas. He has clocked a 10.28 seconds time in the 100-meter dash. He has also been timed at 21.89 seconds in the 200-meters. His feats aren't limited to the track. He has also recorded a 22-foot, 11-inch leap in the long jump.
"I really enjoy track," Aldridge said. "It could be something I look to do in college."
Between track meets and football camps, Aldridge finds his summer tied up.
"I'm going to go to several football camps. I'm trying to finalize which ones. I will got to Texas Tech's next week. I hope to participate in some of the 7-on-7 tournaments. I'm also running summer track."
