Texas RB back to the drawing board

Austin (Texas) Westlake running back Tyler Campbell has been turned away again. Now, it is time to start over again.
“I’m starting all over again,” the 6-foot-1, 182-pound Campbell said. “Baylor told me they have filled all of their running back spots already. I have a visit set with them for January 16. They still want me to come, in case something doesn’t work out with the others. But, right now, I don’t have an offer from them anymore.”

The son of former Texas Longhorn, Earl Campbell, has mailed out more film to schools that have expressed some interest recently.
“I’ve sent tapes to Oklahoma State, Arizona, Utah and Georgia Tech recently,” he said. “Now, that they’ve had them for a bit, I’m going to call them on Monday. This is a big week for me. I am eager to hear what they have to say.”
Campbell has not set up any other visits yet.
“I will hopefully get to do that when I’m talking to them,” he said. “If someone wants me to come the weekend Baylor is having me down, I will take that trip instead. I want to go to a school that has really made an effort to recruit me. And hopefully some of these are sincere in their interest.”
