Texas RB back on the market

Navosta, Texas running back Chris Smith has had a change of heart after making an early summer decision.
“I am not committed to TCU anymore,” the 5-foot-11, 218-pound Smith said. “I called them to tell them I’m not committed right now. I just want to wait and weigh my options. I want to see what else might come around.”

Smith, who rushed for 1,710 yards as a junior, is not upset with the Horned Frog coaches for anything.
“It was nothing to do with TCU. I just did it too early. There is still a chance I could end up there. I’d say maybe a 60 percent chance I could end up there.
“Along with them, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Miami and Arizona are all expressing interest. TCU and Baylor are my only offers right now.”
