Young attended Colorado on an official visit this past weekend. It was a visit that left him impressed.
"It was real cool, a lot of fun," he said. "The game was wild and the fans were wild."
He said that he hung out with six other recruits from the Houston area and that recruits from California and Nebraska were also present.
When asked if Colorado was his favorite because of the visit Young said: "Nah. I was impressed by my trip, but I'm still going to take all five of my visits. I'm still pretty open."
High on Young's list of priorities for selecting a school are: "Academics. I want to go to a school that graduates its African-American athletes. I also want to go to a school where I'll get to run the ball a lot."
Oklahoma, Texas, UCLA were the other schools that are expected to get visits. He is also interested in Nebraska, Kansas State, LSU, Texas A&M and Arkansas.
