Alaniz was his district’s offensive most valuable player and was named all-South Texas quarterback as a junior. It was a year that Alaniz led Sinton to the Class 3A state championship game.
“I’m an elusive quarterback,” he said. “I like to have the ball in my hands.”
And when it’s in his hands, good things happen.
Alaniz has great athletic ability with 4.41-speed in the 40-yard dash, a 270-pound bench press and a 400-pound squat.
When it comes time to make a college decision. Alaniz said he’ll look at things like the athletic facilities, the campus and the atmosphere in the college town.
