Texas QB to visit Gators

San Antonio (Texas) Winston Churchill quarterback Blair Peterson has had several things pop up in the last couple weeks. One of them includes a visit this weekend.
“I am going to Florida this weekend,” the 6-foot-3, 225-pound Peterson said. “My situation with Florida depends on Cornelius Ingram. If he goes there, they won’t have a scholarship for me. If he doesn’t they told me they probably would have one. He may go to South Florida or Florida State. They don’t know, so they are being ready in case.”

Two other schools have indicated there will be an offer if the room is there in the class.
“Ohio State and Arizona want to scholarship me,” the two-star rated signal caller said. “They need to see if they can find any room for me. Coach Chow at USC called a couple weeks ago and said he really liked my tape. He said he would get back to me before signing day.”
With Ingram considering South Florida as well as the Gators, Peterson took the opportunity to send some film to Bulls coach Jim Leavitt.
“We put in a call to South Florida,” he said. “We hadn’t sent them film. We did that today to them.”
Peterson also visited Louisville last weekend.
"I had a good visit to Louisville," he said. "I enjoyed it a lot. I just want to see how this all plays out. A lot is happening here lately."
Peterson claims the Gators as a favorite at this time.
“If I can, I will go to Florida in a heartbeat. I will accept on the spot if they offer me a scholarship. But, the others would all be good options, too.”
