Texas QB to commit Wednesday
Ft. Worth (Texas) Catholic quarterback Sean Hakes is going to be playing his college football in the Midwest and the MAC, it's just a matter of which school he selects on Wednesday.
"I took my official visit to Bowling Green this past weekend," Hakes said. "I went to Akron the weekend before that.

"I enjoyed it at Bowling Green. It was a really good visit. I like the tradition they have."
Hakes has scholarship offers from both MAC schools.
"Colorado State and Ole Miss have offered too," he said. "But I'm not considering them anymore.
"Akron and Bowling Green are pretty much equal. I really liked the coaches and players at both of them. Both of them have good facilities.
"I'm going to commit on Wednesday, but I don't know to who."
The 6-foot-4 and 195 pound Hakes threw for over 1000 yards during his senior season. He connected for 25 touchdowns with just six interceptions.
