Texas QB tearing it up

Austin Flynn of Deer Park, Texas may be the best quarterback in the country that most people have not heard of.
For whatever reason, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-hander has flown under the radar screen of many pundits when talking about the nation’s best quarterbacks.

But Flynn enjoys excellent accuracy with his throws and has very good movement in and outside of the pocket. He could be an absolute perfect fit for a spread offense, like those employed at Iowa State or Northwestern.
And Flynn just happens to have official visits scheduled with both teams. Northwestern is set for Nov. 30 and Iowa State for Dec. 7.
Tennessee, according to Flynn, is also talking about him making an official visit. TCU is also in the picture but is back in the pack.
Flynn says he continues to favor Iowa State, a school that has “been on me from the start.” Northwestern and Tennessee, though, are still very much in the picture.
Flynn is wearing jersey No. 3 for the rest of this season in honor of his teammate and best friend Derek Broussard who is out for the season with kidney problems.
