Texas QB taking trips
Longview, Texas, quarterback Joel Armstrong has taken one visit and has two more set up. So what did he think about TCU last weekend?

"I liked it a lot," Armstrong, a three-star quarterback, said. "I got a chance to talk to all the coaches and the players were really nice, too."
But it's just the first visit on Armstrong's visit schedule.
He's set to visit SMU on January 10 and then Rice on January 17. He has scholarship offer from all three of those teams.
He was also getting interest from Air Force, Kansas State and a few others at this point, but the calls aren't coming from those schools anymore, plus Armstrong has narrowed his focuse to those three teams.
