Texas QB taking it slow

The recruiting situation remains the same for North Richland Hills, Texas quarterback Joe Kemp. His offer count hasn't increased, but he's thinking about visits this fall.
The 6-foot-4, 212-pounder still holds two offers from Kansas and Tulane. While participating in 7-on-7 tournaments, Kemp has started to think about which offers could come next and where he'd like to take a trip to.

"Well, I went to Houston this past Friday for their mini-camp," Kemp said. "I haven't been to any other camps because of 7-on-7 stuff. I'm still talking with Tulane and Kansas a lot."
Kemp says that TCU and Louisiana Tech are two other schools that he's been in recent contact with.
"I talk to them consistently," Kemp said. "Louisiana Tech, they're coaches text message me a lot and we've stayed in contact. I'm keeping my options open right now. I had some favorites, but it's wide open now."
During the season, Kemp wants to get out to Tulane and Kansas, the two teams that have offered.
"In the beginning, I wanted to be committed before the season started," he said. "I think I'm going to wait a little longer to see how many options I have."
