Texas QB solid after visit
Earlier this month, San Antonio (Texas) Alamo Heights quarterback Giovanni Vizza was committed to Nevada, but still wanted to check out his options.
After taking in Nevada this past weekend, where he committed to originally, the 6-foot, 190-pounder says that he's now solid.

"I enjoyed my visit to Nevada, I really did," Vizza said. "It really just made me excited about Nevada. I enjoyed their facilities and their offense. I'm not sure about any other trips. I don't foresee any others now to be honest."
Vizza says that though schools like North Texas and Air Force were talking with him, the trip to see Nevada definitely strengthened his commitment.
"I know the quarterback position is wide open," Vizza said. "They didn't talk to me much about playing time, but I know what I have to do to play as soon as possible."
"I think I'm pretty sold now. I had a good time."
