Texas QB picks up his third offer

San Antonio Lee quarterback Jerome Tiller has picked up his third scholarship offer and his second from out-of-state.
The 6-foot-3, 184-pounder picked up early offers from Purdue and Texas A&M. Minnesota was the latest to extend their offer after speaking with coaches Tim Cross and Mike Dunbar.

"It's pretty good," Tiller said about his new offer. "They were just telling me about their style of play and how they have a new coaching staff. He was just making sure I was real comfortable with the coaching staff and the things they plan to run."
Of the schools that haven't offered but could, Tiller says Northwestern is at the top of that list.
"They just said they have to look at a few more things on me and they'll be ready to send an offer," Tiller said.
Tiller says he doesn't have any favorites, but is keeping the schools that have offered at the top of his list. The only visit he's taken so far is to Texas A&M some time back. Between now and official visits this fall, he doesn't know of any other campus trips.
He is, however, planning to attend the NIKE Training Camp this weekend in Fort Worth, Texas.
"I just want to go up there, get my name out some more, and have some fun," he said.
