Texas QB picks Falcons

Houston (Texas) Northland Christian quarterback Jeff Abt met up with one of his former opponents on a visit to Air Force this past weekend and found out he would be playing with him for the next four years.
The 6-foot-3, 181-pounder made a commitment to Air Force along with cross-town rival receiver London Lomax. Abt says it will be nice to know somebody in college, but this wasn't planned by any means.

"We just met each other up there, had played with each other during the season, so we knew of each other," Abt says, "Now, we're both going to Air Force."
San Diego and Truman State had also offered Abt. However, the Air Force was the perfect fit for Abt.
"I liked the coaches a lot, but also just the way of life," Abt said. "I like the structured way of life that it provides. It's great academics that they have there."
Abt says he's not planning any other visits.
