Texas QB making the grade
Spring (Texas) Westfield quarterback Mark Spivey is still not getting the attention that he deserves, but with an improved academic standing that might soon change.

"It's starting to look better for me," he said. "And now a bunch of coaches are supposed to come by the school this week."
But there are a few that still call the 6-foot-4, 185-pounder at home every week.
"Missouri, SFA, Hampton, Tulsa and people like that still call," he said. "But I think more might still be coming by the school to see what I'm about."
Spivey is ranked as a three-star player and No. 13 dual threat quarterback in the nation.
