Texas QB makes decision

One of the better signal-callers in the Midlands Region has made a commitment. So where is Bay City, Texas, quarterback Scott Elliott heading?
“He committed to Tulane this weekend,” said Elliott’s mother, Tricia Elliott, said. “We visited this past weekend and we really fell in love.”

Elliott picked the Green Wave over Arizona, Texas Tech, Purdue and Colorado. He did not have any other offers, but all of those teams called in May.
“His first love is academics, and with Tulane being a private school he’s going to get a great education,” his mother said. “Plus, Tulane is a team on the rise. Coach (Chris) Scelfo said he’s the type of quarterback that they can build a team around.”
Elliott is a 6-foot-1, 172-pound quarterback that has earned all-state honors the last two seasons for one of the top teams in the state of Texas.
