Texas QB keeping eyes open

Lexington, Texas quarterback Jordan Peterson anticipates a position switch in college, and it won’t matter to him.
“Most of the schools that are calling me are talking about me playing a slot receiver or cornerback,” the 5-foot-10, 185-pound Peterson said. “They have also mentioned safety as a possibility. I don’t have any problem with switching positions. I just want to play.”

The schools recruiting Peterson include Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Baylor, SMU and Houston.
“They have all called,” he said. “I’ve talked to them about their camps and stuff like that. Texas Tech’s camp is coming up June 6. I’m going to that one. I’m also going A&M and Baylor the next week. I don’t have any offers yet, but Baylor and Texas Tech acted like they would when I went to camp.”
Peterson does have one school at the top of the list.
“Right now, I would say the favorite is probably Texas A&M, Texas Tech and then Baylor.”
