Texas QB is heading to the Big Ten

According to his father, Russell Bellomy is heading to the Big Ten.
Bellomy, a star quarterback from Arlington (Texas) Martin, has committed to Purdue, according to his father Jerry Bellomy said.

"It's time to Boiler up," Bellomy said. "Russell has committed to Purdue."
Bellomy, who is 6-foot-3 and 178 pounds, threw for 1,546 yards and 13 scores as a junior. He also rushed for 438 yards and six scores.
He also had scholarship offers from Boise State, Colorado, Colorado State, Florida International, Iowa State, Marshall, Michigan State, Minnesota, North Texas, Ohio, Rice, USF, Texas State, Tulsa and UAB.
Bellomy was recruited by Purdue running back coach Cornell Jackson.
