Position: Quarterback
Size and Speed: Reever is 6-foot-2 and 185-pounds. He has been clocked at 4.60 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
Stats: Reever threw for 2,490 yards and 27 touchdowns as a junior. He completed 211 of 335 passes.
He currently has completed 399 passes on 629 attempts for 4,906 yards on his career. He has thrown 51 touchdown passes to date in his career.
Those figures put him within reach of second place in all of the state's class 5A passing statistic categories.
Favorite Schools: Reever lists Colorado, Alabama, LSU and Texas A&M as the schools at the top of his list at this point.
Skinny: Reever has yet to receive any scholarship offers, but is not limiting his options.
"I'm kind of playing my cards as I get them," Reever said. "My top three that are contacting me the most are Colorado, Alabama and Texas A&M."
When asked if one school was a favorite over the others, Reever had a quick response.
"I think I would say Colorado right now. I'm definately going to a camp at Colorado.
"I will probably go to a Nike camp also. I might try to go to an LSU one too cause they are looking at me kind of heavily."
Reever has thrown the ball all over the field as a high school quarterback and he would like to find a college that lets him do that too.
"I would obviously love to be involved in an offense that puts it up alot. But, I'm not letting that restrict me to schools that don't throw as much."
While Reever is moving up the ranks among Texas prep passers in completions, attempts, yardage and touchdown passes, he won't let the pursuit go to his head.
"If the records come they come. But, that's not something that I worry about much. My main priority is a playoff spot and finding a good college that suits me."
The state of Texas is home to several good quarterbacks this year but Reever feels like he can hold his own.
"I think I'm working in the toughest district in the state with the least talented recieveing corps. I mean, I dont have one guy that is a deep threat, so I think you have to take that into consideration. But, there are some really good ones, I know all about Rhett Bomar, Graham Harrell and Stephen McGee.
