Texas QB hoping big numbers translate

Whitehouse, Texas quarterback Brady Attawayhas put up monstrous numbers over the past two seasons at quarterback. As a sophomore, he tallied over 2,000 yards and 16 touchdowns with a 63 percent completion rate. He topped those numbers as a junior with 3,127 yards and 39 touchdowns with the same completion rate. Now Attaway is hoping those numbers will translate into some college scholarship offers.
Attaway has been busy on the camp circuit early this summer trying to track down those offers by showing off his big arm.

"I've been to three camps," Attaway said. "I went to the Baylor camp, SMU and I went to UTEP. I did pretty well, especially at the Baylor one. It was one of my best ones so far."
The three in-state camps also double as three of the programs that hold Attaway's interest in the early going.
"There's a couple schools I'm interested in," he said. "The camps I've been to and then I'm interested in Texas State. I like the in-state schools but I wouldn't mind getting out of state if I had to."
The rest of the summer schedule involves more camps for the 6-foot-2 signal-caller.
"In July I'm going to the Texas State camp and the Texas A&M one," he said. "I'm also going to Louisiana Tech and Louisiana Lafayette."
Attaway lists Texas State, SMU and Baylor as the three schools showing him the most interest to date.
