Texas QB has two leaders

Dallas Samuell quarterback David Overstreet has narrowed his choice of schools.
The 6-foot-2, 188-pound dual-threat quarterback, rated a four-star prospect by Rivals100.com, says that Arizona State and Wisconsin are his top two choices. Maryland, West Virginia, Iowa State and Purdue are also involved. All of the schools have offered him a scholarship.
Samuell is off to a 0-4 start. Overstreet has yet to complete a touchdown pass, although he has rushed for three scores.
“We’re off to a rocky start,” he said. “We’re going to get it back together for district though.”
Overstreet has scheduled one official visit – to Arizona State on Nov. 30.
Overstreet says there is good reasoning behind pushing the Sun Devils and Badgers to the front of his list.
“I like the way the coaches talk at Arizona State. It sounds like they like the wide-open offense. At Wisconsin, I’ve been keeping my eye on them. I like how they’re changing things some and opening it up (offensively).”
Overstreet said he has no favorite between Wisconsin and ASU. He wants to take his official visits before reaching a decision.
