Junior to Watch: Ryan Newbrough

Position: Quarterback
Size and speed: Ryan Newbrough is 6–foot-0 and 180 pounds. He has a 40-yard dash time of 4.7 seconds.
Statistics: As a junior Newbrough passed for 1148 yards, with 76 completions out of 156 attempts. He also threw for nine touchdowns.
Honors: He was named to his district's second team as a junior.
Favorite Schools: Newbrough is hearing from Arizona State, Yale, Baylor and Texas A&M.
“My favorite school is Texas”, Newbrough said, “but out of the schools I’m hearing from, Texas A&M would be my favorite.” He has not received any offers yet.
Skinny: “I play hard and am very competitive, and though I’m more of a passer I can run the ball some.”
Newbrough benches 235 pounds and squats 390 pounds. He has a vertical jump of 29 inches.
Ryan will camp at Baylor and Texas A&M this summer. He has already taken an unofficial visit to Baylor.
