Texas QB has final four

The post-season is here for Fort Worth (Texas) Nolan Catholic quarterback Sean Hakes. The two-star prospect and his team will be heading to San Antonio to get the first round the playoffs underway and the 6-foot-3, 182-pound signal caller is ready to go.
In the back of his mind recruiting has become a major focus. Now that he is graduating in December, Hakes must speed up his decision timeframe and start narrowing down his list. He's gotten started by cutting his list to four.

"I just got back from Oregon this past weekend and they're in my top four along with Bowling Green, Akron, and Ohio," Hakes said. "Oregon and Bowling Green are really my top two."
The unofficial visit to the Pac-10 school definitely gave Hakes another option in the offer category depending on what happens in the next few weeks.
"There was somebody else down there this weekend, a quarterback, and since they're only taking two quarterbacks, if he commits, then I won't get offered," Hakes said. "But, if they take three or if he doesn't get offered, they said I'm the guy."
Hakes says that both Bowling Green and Oregon are top schools on his list because of the atmosphere at the game. He called it "electrifying."
Now, his attention turns to both post-season play and upcoming visits.
"I don't know if I'll take all of my official visits, but I want to," Hakes said. "I need to make my decision by the end of November or the start of December. Whichever school I commit to, I'll visit there in the middle of December."
