Texas QB growing in popularity

Quarterback Nathan Dick wasn't going to sit with just one scholarship offer for long. The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder was inching closer to more over the last several weeks and things are finally changing.
Dick was offered first by SMU but now has offers from Baylor and Rice. Things are definitely picking up for the talented signal caller and he says that more schools could be next.

"Today Baylor gave me their offer and I like them a lot because they put in a new offense," Dick said. "They throw the ball a ton during the game out of the shotgun and that would be good for what I do."
There will be no time wasted taking visits. The Allen, Texas quarterback says he's going to visit Houston and Rice this upcoming weekend.
"I just want to see their facilities and start to figure out who I like better than others," Dick said. "I don't really have any favorites right now."
Vanderbilt, UTEP, Texas A&M, and Nebraska have all been in contact with Dick as well.
"Texas A&M has been on me pretty hard for a while," he said. "I've talked with Nebraska on the phone and I actually just talked with UTEP last night. They're talking about offering and they want me to go to their camp."
Dick says he'd like to have things decided and done with by the beginning of the fall season.
"I actually want to know and have that done by then," he said. "I want to focus on the season. We had a great spring game. I threw for around 185 yards and two touchdowns. We scored everytime I was in their with the offense."
As a junior, Dick threw for 1,416 yards and 11 touchdowns.
