Texas QB getting plenty of attention
Johnson City, Texas quarterback Kris Heavner continues to receive phone calls from schools all across the country.
"It's still about the same schools," Heavner said. "Arizona, Baylor, Oklahoma State, TCU, and New Mexico are the main ones."

Heavner is still holding scholarship offers from three of the schools.
"I have offers from Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma State."
Heavner's official visit tour gets a start next week, with an Oct. 4 trip scheduled for Arizona.
"That will be my first trip," the 6-foot-3, 205-pounder said. "That is the only one I have set up right now. I'll work to get some others set up too."
"We're off to a good start this year, but I don't have my stats with me for the season."
Heavner is Rivals.com's No. 40 rated quarterback in the latest rankings. He also continues to carry his three star ranking.
