Texas QB focused on playoffs

Denton (Texas) Ryan quarterback Justin Willis continues to lead his team deep into the playoffs while the recruiting process is on hold for the three-star rated signal caller. Schools are working to set up visits and Willis keeps on winning.
“Tulsa just offered me a couple weeks ago,” the 6-foot-1, 197-pound Willis said. “They are a school I have some interest in. New Mexico, SMU and Northwestern are my other offers right now. I haven’t set up any official visits yet, though.

“I keep telling the coaches that I will set them up after we are done playing. I hope that means we can’t schedule anything for a while.”
While Willis hasn’t set any visit dates, he does know which schools he will likely trip to.
“I will visit New Mexico, Tulsa and SMU,” he said. “Then I am also talking with Iowa State and Kansas State about visiting. They haven’t offered me, yet, but they are staying in touch with me.”
Willis and his Ryan teammates get a chance at revenge in this week’s playoff match-up with Southlake Carroll after losing earlier this season in a game televised on ESPN.
“Our next game we get a second shot at Southlake Carroll. Hopefully this one will come out in victory.”
On the year, Willis has compiled over 2,800 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing. He has 32 passing touchdowns and 12 rushing scores.
