Texas QB adds third offer

Austin (Texas) Westlake quarterback Nick Foles added two quick scholarship offers from out-of-state early on the process, but has his first in-state offer in hand.
The 6-foot-5, 230-pounder received an offer from UTEP this past week and says that each offer he gets is exciting. Nothing is firm, however, with favorites or a timeframe for a decision yet.

"It's exciting," Foles said about the UTEP offer. "I really like their coach. I've heard great things about them, about their facilities, and their campus is great. I'm excited about it."
Purdue, Nebraska, UCLA, Duke and several other schools have been by the school watching him in practice. Nonetheless, Foles is not ready to name any leaders in the race for his services.
"I mean I like all of them," Foles said. "I don't have a mail favorite right now. I'm still open to everybody."
Foles says he'll go to a couple of camps which have not been decided on. His decision will be when it feels right.
"I guess if I find the right school, I like what I see, and I sit down with my family, I'll commit at that time," he said. "I just have to make sure it's the right one. When I know what that is, I'll commit."
Foles was a first-team all-district member, honorable mention all-CenTex, and academic all-district as a junior.
