Texas prospect gives final commitment

The recruiting race for Zane Tomlin is over. The talented defensive tackle from Texas will not take his visit to Colorado this weekend.
“Zane isn’t going to Colorado,” said Jim Tomlin, Zane’s father. “He committed to Coach (Craig) Kuligowski and Missouri this afternoon. Then we called Coach (Gary) Pinkel about 3:00 to tell him. He’s going to be a Missouri Tiger. We’re hoping Zane can help Brad Smith and company win a Big 12 championship.”

Tomlin made an early commitment in August to Colorado, but took an official visit to Missouri on December 6.
Tomlin had several offers from schools around the country before making a final decision to attend Missouri.
