Texas OT up to five

A junior season injury obviously hasn't hurt the recruiting process for Tyler (Texas) Lee offensive tackle Trevius Jones.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pounder has had several coaches come down to the school during the spring and now says that he's up to five scholarship offers. Jones says that he's excited about each one and isn't ready to name a favorite just yet.

"Well, I was just recently offered by Nebraska and Colorado so I'm up to five offers now," Jones said. "The other three came from Oklahoma State, Baylor, and Texas Tech. I've had a lot of coaches come down and I'm just pretty excited about all of this."
Jones says that before he starts naming top schools, he wants to get out this summer and take some unofficial visits and camp trips. Then, he'd like to commit before the season or right during the beginning to concentrate on his senior year.
"When I get out and see what each school has to offer, that's when I'll make up my mind," he said. "I know I want to commit before the season if I can. That also gives me time to visit and see which school is the best for me.
"Right now, I know that Oklahoma State always has a camp in Kilgore, so I'll probably go to that. As far as everything else, I'm not sure."
Jones says that there are several things he's looking for in the school he chooses.
"I just want to like the environment and see what kind of education I can get there," Jones said. "Of course the football team is a part of it too. It's really all of it mixed together and which school has the best of all of those things."
