He prefers to stay close to home, but the academic standards and support will play a large part is his final decision, as will the chance to play early.
"Education is important to me," Jake said.
"It was real good and I learned a lot there," Housson said in reference to his camp visit to Houston.
Jake has no real favorite, but Houston appears to be the favorite.
His dad attended Sam Houston University and his mother attended Missouri.
Houston - "I like the campus and the coaches. They know how to do stuff there and it's close to home."
Missouri - "I have family there and toured the facilities, when I went to visit and they were great. I've watched them growing up and my mom is an alumnus. Also, they have a good journalism program."
Jake's strong points are - "My strength and foot speed. Also, I have good foot work and a knowledge of the position."
He describes himself as - "An aggressive blocker on the line."
On a ten point scale, Jake rated his pass blocking with a 7 and his run blocking with an 8.
