Texas OL stays patient

Red Oak, Texas offensive tackle Anthony Hamm definitely has the tools to play Division I football, but he's yet to receive his first scholarship offer just yet.
Texas A&M, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and several others have shown some interest in the 6-foot-6, 353-pounder. Those schools make up his early top five and he doesn't want to wait long on his decision.

"I would commit as soon as possible if I had it my way," Hamm said. "When I get my first offer, that could happen. I just want to focus on the season."
Kansas and Texas A&M that Hamm has been in contact with. Though he hasn't had a lot of contact with Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Wyoming, he likes all those teams.
"I've met the coaches at A&M and I like them a lot," he said. "I haven't talked to Nebraska, but I like their team. I like the fact that Oklahoma is close to home. My family lives in Kansas and I've talked with those coaches quite a bit. Wyoming is a little further from home and I'd like to see that."
Hamm says playing time is his top factor when making his decision.
