Texas OL playing waiting game

Fort Worth (Texas) Christian Rendal Bailey continues to hear from schools.

"Baylor, North Texas and Kansas State are all schools still contacting me," the 6-foot-4, 295-pound Bailey said. "Baylor hasn't done anything since the coaches were fired."

Bailey said the staff at North Texas has really picked up their interest recently.

"They are being more and more serious about the whole thing lately. North Texas is trying to do things the right way. They're talking about offering me a scholarship soon."

The two Big 12 schools, continue to stay in contact though.

"K-State has been staying in touch quite a bit through e-mail," Bailey said. "They've told me they don't normally get too deep into the recruiting process until later than most schools. And Baylor is a school that I really like. I'm eager to find out how much interest the new coach would have in me and what I can bring to that program."
