Texas OL names two favorites

Dallas (Texas) Jesuit offensive lineman Reggie Stephens has moved two schools to the top of his list.
“I have scholarship offers from the same schools as I have for a long time,” the 6-foot-2, 300-pound Stephens said. “No new offers have come for a while. I get a lot of mail, but nothing out of the ordinary for a while.”
The schools that have extended offers include Baylor, Iowa State, Louisiana-Monroe, Kansas State, Miami (Ohio), Utah and UTEP.
“I would say at this point, I am favoring Iowa State and Kansas State. Those two are big-time programs. Kansas State won the Big 12 last year and they always win a lot of games every year. And, Iowa State is a rebuilding program that has a lot of good young people who are going to get it turned around.”
Stephens plans on making some visits before making a choice.
“I am going to make some trips after our season,” he said. “I want to see some schools before picking. Hopefully, I can get several done and see the campuses and facilities. I plan on taking at least three trips.”
