Texas OL makes his pledge

Galveston (Texas) Ball offensive guard Kelvin Drake has been favoring two schools, North Texas and Arkansas State for some time. After taking in Arkansas State two weeks ago, North Texas got their crack at the two-star sleeper and apparently it made all the difference.
The 6-foot-3, 280-pound Texas lineman made a pledge this weekend to the in-state school.

"I committed, but I'm going to take some more trips," Drake said. "I related well with the players and the system is set kind of like how we run it here. I mean, I could get some playing time. I'll go wherever they put me."
Drake says that even though he's committed, he wants to make sure that UNT is the right place for him.
"I'm just making sure in case something changes on another trip," Drake said. "You don't know what could happen. Utah State is next week and that's it for right now. There might be one more visit after that."
"It could be like Stephen F. Austin or Texas State."
Drake says that Colorado State may also be a possibility for a visit.
