Texas OL makes commitment
Sugar Land (Texas) Willowridge offensive lineman Manuel Ramirez said that Kansas State had always been the team to beat, but now that's changed. Changed in a big way.
Ramirez, who is 6-foot-4 and 315 pounds, committed to Texas Tech this weekend on an official visit to Lubbock.

"I didn't think I was going to commit, but I just feel in love with the place," Ramirez said. "I loved the town. It was a real college town - not too big and not too small."
Ramirez said Tech offensive lineman Jon Rodriguez hosted him on the visit.
"He was cool," Ramirez said. "He was nice to hang out with."
Ramirez said he was planning on taking other visits before he committed but since he told Tech he was committed they didn't want him to take other visits, so now he will not visit Kansas State, UTEP, Houston, Syracuse or Nebraska.
He had offers from all but Nebraska.
