Size and Speed: Quinn is 6-foot-4 and weighs 260-pounds. He has been timed at 5.0 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
Position: Offensive tackle
Statistics: As a junior, Quinn graded out at over 88 percent and had 35 pancake blocks.
Honors: Quinn was an all-district selection as an offensive tackle in his first year as a starter for a Garland squad that went 10-1 in 2002.
Schools: Quinn listed a top five as Texas A&M, Kansas State, Iowa, Oklahoma and Texas. He named the Aggies as his top choice at this point.
"With Coach Slocum there, it was no doubt, head over heels they were the top school," Quinn said. "There isn't as much communication with Coach Franchione, but they are sending me quite a bit of stuff. They're the leader right now."
Skinny: Quinn is looking at nine schools as possible camping sites this summer.
"We're looking at A&M, Kansas State, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas, SMU, TCU, Baylor and Texas Tech as possible camping destinations," Quinn said. "We don't know if the dates will all work out or not. But we want to get to as many as possible of them."
Quinn hopes to continue to improve on his numbers from his junior season through hard work this summer and into next fall.
"If I continue to improve through better techniques and stuff, then I'll improve. I do think I'll improve on the 88 percent grade."
It appears offensive line will be the most likely position for Quinn, but others are possible.
"A&M has mentioned offensive line, tight end or defensive line. Nothing really set. K-State is another one that has said others might be a possibility."
When it comes time to pick a school, Quinn isn't as concerned about where the school is as what kind of football tradition they have.
"Football tradition at the school will be the top thing I look at. Then location will be second."
