Texas OL keeps adding offers, has favorites

One offer has turned to three for Southlake (Texas) Carroll offensive guard Jake Jackson.
The 6-foot-4, 275-pounder added his first offer from Baylor. The Bears are now joined by offers from Louisville and Tulsa. Jackson says that two of those currently lead the way with other schools such as SMU and UCLA showing interest.

"I'd say that Baylor and Louisville are probably at the top," Jackson said. "It's the atmosphere at both schools. The coaching staffs are great and I have family in both places.
"The last trip I actually took was to Louisville a few weeks back. That went really well."
Jackson says that he plans to wait before making a decision, but would like to have things wrapped up by this summer.
"I definitely want to decide before the season starts," he said. "That way I can focus on the year with my team. I'm going to make my decision by mid-July."
While Jackson's abilities have been the main reason why scholarship offers have come, he says that sending in game tapes sped things up.
"I think what really got it started was sending in my tapes to a lot of those different schools," he said. "All of the coaches said they really picked up on my footwork and that's something I think I do really well."
