Denton, Texas offensive lineman Herman Johnson took his first official visit over the weekend. Now, the living room at the Johnson house will get a workout.
“I had a good time at LSU over the weekend,” the 6-foot-8, 350-pound Johnson said. “I had a good time seeing everything. I got to see the facilities and visit with the coaches.”
Despite the first visit being under his belt, the three-star rated guard will get no breaks this week.
“Houston was here tonight (Tuesday),” he said. “It went pretty good. We had a good chat. They are a school I am going to consider. I have LSU coming by Wednesday night and Oklahoma State will be stopping by Wednesday right after school is out. Oklahoma hasn’t set anything up yet to come by.”
Johnson will visit Oklahoma officially the weekend of December 12. He will travel to Stillwater to see Oklahoma State on Jan. 16.
“I’m looking forward to taking those visits,” he said. “Then I can sit down and make some comparisons and a decision.”
